Why most background removers ruin car glass
A car photo isn't one shape — it's a body wrapped around several sheets of glass, and every one of them shows whatever was behind the car when the photo was taken. Most background removers only look at the outline of the car, which is exactly why the windows keep giving them away.

How to shoot a car so it cuts out cleanly
None of this needs a studio — a phone photo on a driveway works fine. These just make the edge easier for any tool to find, ours included.
Fit the whole car in frame
Leave a margin around the bumpers, mirrors and roofline so nothing that belongs to the car gets cropped out of the cutout.
Use even, diffuse light
Overcast daylight or open shade beats direct sun — hard shadows across the paint can get mistaken for part of the car's edge.
Watch reflections in paint and glass
A photographer or a building reflected in a door panel is fine; a wall of glare across the whole side makes the edge harder for any tool to find.
Keep the ground simple where you can
Asphalt, a plain wall or grass all work well; a patterned surface right at the tyre line is the hardest case for any cutout, ours included.
Shoot in focus
Motion blur or soft focus blurs the very edge the segmentation model is trying to trace, especially around mirrors and thin trim.
A straight-on or 3/4 angle works best
The classic dealer angle shows the body, wheels and glass clearly, with nothing else crossing in front of the car.

The windows are segmented separately from the body, and once the old scene behind them is gone, the glass is replaced with a semi-transparent dark tint whose opacity follows the brightness of the glass in your original photo — so a new background can show through it like real glass.
